“Olise has over three and a half years left on his contract, and he will increasingly become a decisive factor in FC Bayern’s game and shape the future of this team,” Eberl added, “if it is up to us: the longer, the better.”

Any attempt by Liverpool to prise Olise away will need to overcome both Bayern’s financial strength and the player’s increasing value. His current deal already delivers an estimated €12 million annually, supplemented by significant bonuses.
