WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Lilywhites just a short time ago.
It has been reported that Wang has agreed a move to Chinese Women’s Super League club Wuhan Chegu Jiangda WFC.
The 30-year-old midfielder joined Spurs ahead of the January 2024 transfer window but she has struggled to settle into life in the Barclays Women’s Super League. Wang has made 11 appearances for the North Londoners in all competitions with just two of those outings coming in the form of starts. Wang’s only appearance in a Spurs shirt this season came as a substitute in a Subway Women’s League Cup group stage fixture at Crystal Palace before Christmas.
Wang is now returning to the familiar surroundings of her homeland. The winger has spent the vast majority of her career playing within the Chinese game. Wang has turned out for Wuhan Jianghan University and Dalian WFC back home in China. She has enjoyed four separate spells with Wuham Jianghan University.
The player has left Spurs on good terms with the club offering Wang their best wishes for the future.
