Standout star drives Gil Vicente before late Alverca sting | OneFootball

Agustín Moreira put Gil Vicente ahead in the 32nd minute and struck again (71.), but Alverca levelled late as it finished 2-2 in Barcelos.

Moreira's opener came from a sharp left-footed finish into the bottom right after timing his run to meet a pass from Luis Esteves through the middle.

Before the interval he drew a low save from André Nogueira Gomes (45.) after racing on to a through ball from Santiago Garcia Gonzalez. After the restart he switched roles, bending in a cross that Santi Garcia headed on target (48.).

The Uruguayan then doubled his tally with a rising left-footed strike into the top left from the left side of the box (71.), again found by Santi Garcia.

He finished with four attempts, three on target, five touches in the box and six successful final third passes, a line that underlined constant threat between the lines.
