Luis Suárez broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute with a right-footed strike from outside the box as Sporting CP beat AVS 6-0. He is now on 11 Liga Portugal goals, first in the scoring chart.
The Colombian's drive flew into the top right corner, setting the tone for a dominant night.
After the restart, Suárez forced a save with a left-foot attempt from the left side of the area (48.). He then swept in his second from close range (53.), finishing Matheus Reis' header across goal after a corner.
Suárez later went close with a header that flew high (57.). He finished with six attempts, four on target, and ten touches in the box, underlining how he led the Leões' attack throughout.
His constant movement into the box stretched AVS and kept the Leões on the front foot.
The Leões visit Santa Clara in the Taça de Portugal next. AVS travel to Vitória S.C. in the same competition.
How high would you rate Suárez's performance tonight?
