Startup joins Everton on emergency loan

City goalkeeper Katie Startup has joined Everton on an emergency loan deal.

The stopper initially joined the Club on a short term loan until the end of the season in April 2024.

Startup then made a permanent move to the Joie Stadium that summer, signing for the Blues from fellow Barclays Women's Super League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion.

She began her senior career with Charlton Athletic before moving to the Seagulls in 2020, and had also enjoyed temporary spells back at Charlton and Liverpool before signing for City.

Everyone at City would like to wish Katie the very best during her loan spell at Everton.
