Fabrizio Romano reports that Raheem Sterling remains an option for Napoli in the January transfer window as the English winger is tempted to try a new challenge abroad.
Chelsea winger Sterling would consider a move to Serie A in the winter transfer window, and Napoli are making their assessments regarding a possible deal.

Sterling is no longer part of Chelsea’s plans, so his transfer fee would not be an issue for Napoli, contrary to the player’s salary.
Fabrizio Romano reports on YouTube that the 31-year-old would need to take a pay cut to move to the Stadio Maradona, but the opportunity to play abroad is appealing to the Chelsea player.

Sterling has reportedly received offers from Fulham and West Ham, but his priority is to try a new experience abroad and Napoli are aware of this opportunity.

The defending Serie A champions, however, won’t decide on Sterling shortly, as they must make financial assessments.
Much like the Noah Okafor deal in January 2025, Sterling is considered by Napoli as a potential late opportunity in the final days of the transfer window.
