According to L'Équipe, Strasbourg have opened negotiations over a new contract for Samir El Mourabet.
The 20-year-old’s stature has grown this season, ranking as Strasbourg’s fourth most used outfield player with 2,410 minutes in all competitions, behind Panichelli, Barco and Doukouré.

He signed an extension through 2030 in November, yet his current deal is not commensurate with his importance and potential.
He earns between €50,000 and €60,000 a month, leaving him outside the club’s top 10 earners.
During the international break, El Mourabet made his Morocco debut in a 1-1 draw with Ecuador.
