Strasbourg’s Guéla Doué being scouted by Inter Milan | OneFootball

RC Strasbourg Alsace’s Guéla Doué (23) is reportedly on Inter Milan’s radar, according to Sky Sport.

Whilst the Nerazzurri, who are looking for a replacement for Denzel Dumfries (30) following his transfer to Real Madrid, are said to have reached an agreement with Union Saint-Gilloise’s Anan Khalaili (21), the fee demanded by the Belgian club – namely €30m – for the Israeli could prove to be a stumbling block to the deal going through.

With a budget estimated at €20m, the reigning Italian champions could therefore turn their attention to Doué, a target considered more affordable, despite his contract running until 2029. Having enjoyed a successful season with the Alsatian side (two goals and seven assists in 34 matches across all competitions), the Ivorian full-back continued his fine form at the World Cup, where he started three of the four matches played by the Elephants.

Two years after his arrival in Strasbourg, the time may now have come for the Angers-born player to take his young career to the next level. A move to Inter Milan would be a great way to achieve this.
