Stuttgart ‘to target’ Dortmund left-back Almugera Kabar | OneFootball

VfB Stuttgart are exploring a move for Borussia Dortmund left-back Almugera Kabar, who is desperate for more game time. A switch to the Baden-Württemberg side may appeal.

Sport BILD reports that talks have already been held with the 20-year-old, who would provide cover for first-choice Maximilian Mittelstädt in Bad Cannstatt.

Dortmund are thought to want €five million, a figure Stuttgart regard as too high. With only six first-team outings for BVB, an alternative solution may be sought.

In the winter window, the German U20 international came close to joining Hamburger SV, only for the deal to collapse at the last moment.

Kabar is still pushing for a change, and Dortmund would like to remove him from the wage bill with two years left on his contract. Whether agreement can be found remains to be seen.
