Matias Soulé’s future at Roma is far from certain.
The Argentine striker, who returned to the capital yesterday after a holiday in his homeland, is expected at Trigoria tomorrow for the start of his training camp. But he could leave again soon.
Sunderland want to bring him to the Premier League. After interest from Borussia Dortmund and Arab clubs in June, who, however, did not submit offers, the English clubs are now the most interested in the 2003-born player.
Roma values the 2003-born player at €35 million (about £30 million), a figure deemed reasonable by the English club, according to The Northern Echo.
The goal of Florent Ghisolfi, Sunderland’s sporting director who brought Soulé to the capital in the summer of 2024, is now to convince Soulé to accept the English destination, where, among other things, he would be reunited with Enzo Le Fée, with whom he shared his first season at Trigoria.
