Sunderland have confirmed that the Newcastle United derby and the Leeds United trip in March have been rescheduled for live TV.

The club said in a statement that both fixtures have been rescheduled for live broadcast. The Tyne-Wear derby at St James' Park will now kick off at 12:00 GMT on Sunday, 22 March on Sky Sports. It had been set for Saturday, 21 March, and could move again if Newcastle overturn a two-goal deficit in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Manchester City to reach the final.

Sunderland will also visit Leeds at Elland Road at 19:30 GMT on Tuesday, 3 March, with TNT Sports broadcasting the match.

The update follows confirmation that the Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie at Oxford United will take place at 14:00 GMT on Sunday, 15 February 2026, live on discovery+.

Sunderland progressed by beating Everton on penalties at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, while Oxford defeated Milton Keynes Dons, and former interim head coach Mike Dodds has joined the U’s backroom staff.
