Sunderland scored three second half goals against Everton to keep their European hopes alive.

The crowd at the Hill Dickinson Stadium paid tribute to the departing Seamus Coleman before the game and while the Toffees legend did make a late cameo, by that time Sunderland had already completed their comeback.

The hosts had taken the lead just before the break after Sunderland failed to clear from a long throw with Everton keeping the ball with Merlin Rohl finding the net via a deflection from his effort after cutting in from the right.

The score was level with just under an hour gone when Enzo Le Fée fed in Brian Brobbey who kept his cool before firing past Jordan Pickford.

After creating the equaliser, Le Fée then put his side ahead in the 81st minute when he received the ball from Chris Rigg in the area and dispatched with his left foot.

The comeback was complete early into stoppage time after a low cross from the right by Habib Diarra that somehow an Everton defender didn't manage to clear, allowing Wilson Isidor to finish at the far post.
