Sunderland ‘to keep’ Wilson Isidor as West Ham pursue duo | OneFootball

Sky Sports News reports that Sunderland have told potential suitors they do not intend to sell Wilson Isidor this summer.

The 25-year-old was linked with a January exit, with Régis Le Bris acknowledging his frustration over limited starts. The Haiti international then finished the season strongly and scored his first World Cup goal this summer.

After selling Eliezer Mayenda to Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais, any approach for Isidor is not advancing. West Ham United are among those linked as they try to return to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Isidor has entered the final two years of his contract and remains central to plans for the 2026/27 campaign.

He missed the final two games of the US tour after returning to the UK for a personal matter, and Le Bris is hopeful he will be back in training on Wearside this week.

West Ham are also keen on winger Simon Adingra and have made an initial loan enquiry. With strong competition on the left, Sunderland could sanction a departure if the terms are right. Before the 1-0 win over Wrexham, when Adingra took a late knock, Le Bris said no final decision had been made, calling pre-season a chance to prove readiness and noting his Monaco spell aided maturity.
