The winter transfer window may be closed, but that won’t stop European clubs from exploring the free agent market to strengthen their squads for the 2024-25 season.
Championship side Sunderland eye a Premier League promotion for next season and they are being urged to pursue three former Paris Saint-Germains to add veteran experience to their squad.
Régis Le Bris is familiar with French football and it would be no surprise if he were to pursue a couple of players with experience playing in Ligue 1 to come in and help him in this final push of the season to earn promotion.

The Sunderland Echo spotlighted 10 players that the Black Cats can pursue to ensure they are one of the clubs playing in the Premier League next season.
Rafinha, Serge Aurier, and Layvin Kurzawa are three names the English media outlet names as players that Sunderland should consider pursuing.
The Brazilian played for PSG from 2020 to 2022, Aurier was in the French capital from 2015 to 2017, and Kurzawa spent nearly a decade with the Ligue 1 side. All these players bring a wealth of experience; it will be interesting to see if either of these three players suits up for Sunderland.
