A new supercomputer model has revised its prediction for Leeds United’s finish, issuing an updated Premier League table and points, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.
Before the March international break, Daniel Farke’s side were three points clear of the relegation zone, three ahead of West Ham and Nottingham Forest.
Leeds could have stretched that to six by beating Brentford on Saturday evening but drew 0-0, before two crucial Sunday fixtures in the survival battle.
Tottenham hosted Nottingham Forest and lost 3-0, lifting Forest above Spurs and to within one point of Leeds. West Ham were beaten 2-0 at Aston Villa, leaving them third-bottom, one behind Tottenham, three behind Forest and four adrift of Leeds.
With seven games remaining, the CasinoHawks supercomputer has released an updated projection featuring a Leeds change and a relegation shock. It now has Arsenal first on 87 points, Manchester City second on 78 and Manchester United third on 71.
Aston Villa are predicted to finish fourth on 65, up from a previous forecast of sixth. Chelsea are predicted fifth on 61, down from fourth, and Liverpool sixth on 60, down from fifth.
