Swap deal? Inter Milan readying transfer offer for Barcelona star | OneFootball

A hypothetical player exchange has this weekend been floated in the Spanish media, between Barcelona and Inter Milan.

This comes amid the understanding that the latter are expressing a keen interest in the signature of Marc-André ter Stegen.

Goalkeeper Ter Stegen is of course widely expected to be on the move before the summer is out, following the arrival of Joan García in Hansi Flick’s Barca squad.

On the lookout for a replacement for the aging Yann Sommer, Italian powerhouse Inter Milan, in turn, are considering an offer for the German.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Inter Milan, who are preparing a replacement in goal, have been interested in the situation of Ter Stegen and could formalise an offer in the coming days.’

And in the case of as much coming to fruition, Barcelona could make use of the situation to launch an offensive of their own.

The Blaugrana are widely understood to be following Inter wing-back Denzel Dumfries with a view to next season.

Could Deco and co. therefore propose Ter Stegen to bring down the price of the Dutch international?
