Roma are taking steps to find a replacement for Angeliño in the event of the Spaniard’s departure, due to the need to balance the books due to the ‘Financial Fair Play’.
The other left winger Anass Salah-Eddine will probably also leave on loan.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi are trying to convince Maxim De Cuyper, the Belgian full-back from Club Bruges who has expressed his desire to change teams: it is a deal worth 20 million euros.
However, Roma, should the deal not come to fruition, has an alternative ready: Nicolàs Tagliafico, the Argentine full-back from Lyon who is leaving on a free transfer.
Tagliafico will be officially released starting June 30 and his name is among those on Frederic Massara’s shortlist. A possible arrival on a free transfer would represent an important opportunity for the capital club.
