Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic side to take on Portuguese side Sporting Braga in the Europa League group stages match at Celtic Park in the 5.45pm early kick off.
There are three changes to the side who started against Hibs in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday with Colby Donovan, Kieran Tierney and Paulo Bernardo all coming back into the side after the two full backs sitting out the Hibs game.
The Celtic team is as follows:
Schmeichel; Donovan, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Tierney; McGregor, Bernardo , Nygren, Iheanacho and Tounekti
Subs: Sinisalo, Trusty, Yang, Balikwisha, McCowan, Kenny, Engels, Hatate, Saracchi, Murray, Forrest and Ralston
Celtic currently have one point in the group after an opening night draw away to Red Star Belgrade while this evening’s visitors got off to a great start picking up three points in a 1-0 win over Dutch side Feyenoord.
Celtic Park is heading for a sellout 60,000 capacity crowd and the threat posed by a supporter protest using silence for the first half hour has gone as the club’s board have finally reached out to the supporters to organise a meeting for Monday. Forget that for now and let’s make plenty of noise for the Bhoys!
