Alessandro Longoni has completed a free transfer move from AC Milan to PSG, and he’s now spoken about his happiness about the switch.

It’s been a slow start to the summer for PSG in terms of transfers, but an incoming deal has now been confirmed.

The long rumoured deal to sign Alessandro Longoni is now done, and the young Italian goalkeeper has done an interview on the club’s official website to speak about how happy he was to make the switch from AC Milan on a free transfer.

“It’s an opportunity to test myself and train with a great coaching staff and world-class players at a state-of-the-art training centre, Longoni said.

“It’s a major institution that has grown and progressed tremendously over the past twenty years. The presence of the coaches and players here obviously played a big part in my decision. I’m convinced that at Paris Saint-Germain, I’ll have the opportunity to continue to grow, both as a goalkeeper and as a man.”

He’s saying all the right things. And without a really elite number one goalkeeper in place at the club, he may get more first team chances sooner than expected/
