Some bonds stand the test of time and become part of a city’s identity. That is exactly the case between Macron and Bologna FC 1909: 25 years of shared history that began in the 2001/02 season and now moves into  2026/27 with the launch of the new Home Kit, designed by the Bologna-based sportswear brand for the Rossoblù.

The new 2026/27 Home Kit celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara through one of its most iconic symbols: the Torre di Maratona. Despite not being part of the original stadium design, the tower has become the stadium’s defining feature over time and a symbol deeply tied to the Rossoblù identity. The new shirt features the tower reinterpreted graphically in a modern style.

The kit’s standout feature is its symmetrical design with five vertical stripes and a central blue stripe, a look the Club has worn several times throughout its history, including 100 years ago during Bologna’s first season at the Stadio Littoriale. The stripes are separated by a vertically repeated silhouette of the Torre di Maratona.

The tower motif also appears on the raglan sleeves in an embossed pattern that alternates the architectural symbol with the Club badge and graphic details inspired by it. The knitted sleeve cuffs feature a subtle tone-on-tone design inspired by Bologna’s famous porticoes, in particular the arches that run alongside the stadium on Via De Coubertin. The outer backneck is finished with the Torre di Maratona in a vibrant red for added visual impact.

Brighter red and blue details feature throughout the design to enhance the shirt’s overall impact. These details can be seen in the piping around the sleeves, the trim on the collar and knitted cuffs, the lettering and numbering design, and the vertical Torre di Maratona graphic that separates the red and blue stripes.

Inside the backneck is a customised Rossoblù label featuring the kit graphic and the Club’s “WEAREONE” slogan in white, alongside the Macron Hero and the words “Designed in Bologna”, highlighting how every garment is brought to life, designed, and developed at the Macron Campus in Valsamoggia, headquarters of Macron. On the chest, the silicone-printed Macron Hero appears on the right, with the Bologna FC 1909 badge on the left.

The Home match kit is accompanied by white shorts with a blue drawstring and red aglets. The blue socks feature a horizontal red stripe at the top, with “BOLOGNA” written in red on the front and the Macron Hero in white.

The Bologna FC 1909 2026/27 Home shirt is made from Eco Softlock, an Eco Fabric specifically developed for match kits: lightweight, soft, and durable. Like all technical garments created by Macron for its partner clubs, the kit is made entirely from polyester derived from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic, underlining the brand’s commitment to sustainable production.
