FLW lists the players that will be absent for the clash at Loftus Road.

Matchday 19 sees Queens Park Rangers entertain West Brom at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon.

Only goal difference separates the two sides ahead of this meeting in West London, with the R’s sat in 13th and Albion in 12th after taking 25 points from their opening 18 second-tier games each.

After going three games unbeaten in the second-tier under Julien Stephan, QPR suffered a shock defeat away at relegation-threatened Norwich City, halting their progress to rise up the table and be in contention for a top six spot.

Meanwhile, the Baggies have had their struggles following the appointment of Ryan Mason. After a positive opening to the campaign, inconsistent results have left them mid-table, although a stunning comeback against Swansea City last weekend could be the catalyst for an upturn in form.

Regardless of claiming victory over the Swans, Mason is still under pressure to get Albion climbing up the table, with it important the Black Country outfit strings successive wins together.

QPR: Sam Field

Starting with the hosts, midfielder Sam Field is set to miss a reunion with his boyhood club.

After being substituted at half-time last weekend at Carrow Road, it was confirmed it was because of a groin injury, which will leave him sidelined for a couple of weeks at least.

It is a blow for the R’s given Field has been filling in at left-back recently.

QPR: Rayan Kolli

QPR youngster Rayan Kolli is also expected to miss out against the Baggies after picking up a muscle injury.

Hampered by injury issues for the Hoops, Kolli isn’t expected to return until the turn of the new year.

QPR: Ben Hamer

R’s shot-stopper Ben Hamer has also been ruled out of the meeting at Loftus Road this weekend.

The ex-Derby County goalkeeper suffered a nasty blow to the face against Blackburn Rovers and is still recovering.

He is expected to be fit for their midweek clash against Birmingham City.

QPR: Harvey Vale

Harvey Vale is another QPR player who has been suffering with injury issues and could well be absent from the matchday squad.

Described as a “little injury” by Stephan, it has kept the attacker out of the last three league games, and while he will miss a fourth this weekend, he is expected to return to training next week and could be in contention for a return in the upcoming midweek game against Birmingham City.

West Brom: Nat Phillips

Meanwhile, for West Brom, they have one of their first-team regulars suspended for this encounter.

After a dreadful opening 45 minutes against Swansea City that saw him substituted, Nat Phillips picked up his fifth booking of the season.

From this, he misses out completely, but he may well have been dropped for Krystian Bielik anyway, due to the Polish international's impressive contribution after replacing Phillips.

West Brom: Toby Collyer

It’s been rotten luck on the injury front so far for Manchester United loanee Toby Collyer, who continues to be plagued by hamstring issues.

Collyer missed four games between October and November after suffering a hamstring pull against Preston North End, and the same problem reoccurred in the West Midlands derby against Birmingham City.

Boss Ryan Mason has confirmed that the midfielder is ruled out for the remainder of 2025.

West Brom: Jed Wallace

A final West Brom injury concern is club captain Jed Wallace, who hasn’t featured since the middle of October due to a calf injury.

It means the former Millwall man will miss his 10th straight game this weekend, with Mason showing no signs that the winger is any closer to returning.

It does leave Albion light in the wide areas, with Mikey Johnston and Karlan Grant the preferred options on the right and left flanks respectively.
