Friday, 9 January (20:30 CET, Sat.1 and Sky): Eintracht Frankfurt vs. BVBThe Black & Yellows will play their first competitive match of 2026 at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt. Their most recent visit to the Eagles was less than two months ago: in the second round of the DFB-Pokal, BVB and Eintracht Frankfurt with Borussia ultimately making it through to the round of 16 thanks to a save by Gregor Kobel.

Tuesday, 13 January (20:30 CET, Sky): BVB vs. SV Werder BremenThe last matchday of the first half of the season takes place midweek. SV Werder Bremen will be the visitors to round off the first round of fixtures. The Black & Yellows are unbeaten in five consecutive games against the Green & Whites (three wins, two draws). In their first home game of the new year, BVB have the opportunity to extend this run at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.

Saturday, 17 January (15:30 CET, Sky): BVB vs. FC St. PauliIn their third Bundesliga match in eight days, BVB face FC St. Pauli. The Kiezkickers have played nine times at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK in the Bundesliga, but remain without a win (three draws, six defeats). Borussia won 2-1 the last time they hosted St. Pauli. The goalscorers in October 2024 were Ramy Bensebaini and Serhou Guirassy.

Tuesday, 20 January (21:00 CET, Prime): Tottenham Hotspur vs. BVBBVB will travel to Tottenham, London for their final away trip of the league phase of the Champions League. The Black & Yellows, currently tenth in the table, will face a Spurs side one place behind them in 11th. Both teams have picked up 11 points in the Champions League so far, meaning they are direct rivals in the battle for a direct place in the last 16.

Saturday, 24 January (18:30 CET, Sky): 1. FC Union Berlin vs. BVBBVB celebrated their first win of the season in the first leg. In their seventh consecutive Bundesliga home win against Union Berlin, Serhou Guirassy scored twice, before Felix Nmecha made it 3-0 to put the icing on the cake. In the past, BVB have only won twice at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei: most recently in the 2023/24 season with a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Karim Adeyemi and Ian Maatsen.

Borussia Dortmund will conclude the Champions League group stage at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK against Inter Milan. The Italian club started with four wins in Europe's elite, but recently lost to Atlético Madrid (2-1) and Liverpool (1-0). The clash between Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan pits the current best attack (with 19 goals, BVB are level with Paris Saint-Germain) against the second-strongest defence (four goals conceded) in the Champions League.
