The Champions League returns to Camp Nou

FC Barcelona will finally play again at the Spotify Camp Nou. The club has confirmed that its next home Champions League match will take place in the renovated stadium.

UEFA has approved Barça's request, granting them special permission to use the venue with limited capacity. The match in question is the sixth game of the group stage, against Eintracht Frankfurt, on Tuesday, December 9.

In its statement, the club explained that the "phase 1B" license now allows more areas of the stadium to be opened, in addition to those already accessible during phase 1A. Before hosting Eintracht, the Catalan side will travel to London to face Chelsea. Currently, Barcelona sit 11th in their Champions League group with 7 points from 4 matches.
