The confirmed Newcastle team v Arsenal has now been announced.
Newcastle United looking to make it seven wins in a row (all competitions).
If Newcastle can play to the levels they showed in the Leicester, Brentford, Ipswich, Aston Villa, Man U and Spurs matches…
Then an excellent chance that NUFC will be picking up another victory tonight.
Arsenal without talisman Bukayo Saka and having won just six of their last thirteen Premier League matches.
If Eddie Howe and his players get the victory, it would be a massive step towards potentially playing at Wembley in March. Whilst no doubt, pretty much all of us would take a draw in this away leg of the semi-final, if offered pre-match.
Newcastle team v Arsenal:
Dubravka, Livramento, Botman, Burn, Hall, Tonali, Joelinton, Willock, Murphy, Isak, Gordon
So just the one enforced change, Joe Willock in for the suspended Bruno.
Subs:
Vlachodimos, Trippier, Osula, Almiron, Kelly, Targett, Barnes, Longstaff, Lewis Miley
Only the one change on the bench, Matt Targett replacing Willock, who has been promoted to the starting eleven.
Arsenal team v Newcastle:
Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Odegaard, Partey, Rice, Martinelli, Havertz, Trossard
