City were confirmed as Barclays Women’s Super League champions with a game to spare following Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.
It’s the Club’s first league title since 2016. To celebrate, we’ve released a special collection which showcases some of the defining moments behind our historic 2025/26.
The range can be shopped here, and the snapshots of the season which take centre stage can be seen in more detail below…
A theme of things to come? City have showcased our willingness to fight until the end this season and have won the most points from within the final 10 minutes of top-flight matches.
The first of these euphoric strikes came in our 2-1 win over Brighton in the Blues’ first home outing, courtesy of Yui Hasegawa.
After Shaw had cancelled out Fran Kirby’s equaliser, the Japan international collected an inch-perfect pass from Aoba Fujino to arrive inside the box and calmly slot home the winner.

The first heavyweight bought between City and Arsenal this season, the teams played out a dramatic five-goal thriller at the Joie Stadium.
But after the Gunners had pegged the hosts back twice with less than 10 minutes remaining, a draw looked likely in the torrential Manchester rain.
That was until City sparked a devastating counter-attack, with Shaw teeing up substitute Iman Beney on the edge of the box.
After beating an Arsenal defender to the ball, she drilled a low into the bottom corner to send the City fans into raptures.

In only her second appearance of the season, Rebecca Knaak lit the sky-blue touch paper in the November 2025 Manchester derby when heading home at the Etihad Stadium.
A battle between the league’s best attack and its meanest defence, City simply blew United away in a devastating first half display.
Further goals from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and a stunning Lauren Hemp strike set the seal on a memorable win.

Of City’s three goals that day against United, Hemp’s was perhaps the pick of the bunch.
Collecting a drilled Kerstin Casparij ball from the right, the England international lined up her shot and sent a thunderous effort into the top corner.
In celebration, she paid tribute to the Club’s performance staff for their role in helping her return from injury in time for the clash by flexing her muscles in front of a packed Etihad crowd.
It’s become an iconic symbol from another fantastic season for Hemp.

City have led the way in the WSL since a 2-1 win over Everton at Goodison Park in early November.
The Blues had to fight for all three points against a well-drilled Toffees side, and Ayaka Yamashita’s celebration at the final whistle showed just what it meant to her and her team-mates to get over the line.
The Japan international has become a fan favourite since joining the Club in the summer of 2024, with her fantastic displays and post-match celebrations a big part of that!

Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s goals have been a key element of City’s march to the WSL title, and she hit another incredible milestone in a 6-1 win over Aston Villa in December.
The Jamaican’s opening goal was her 100th for the Club – becoming the first player in our professional era to reach the landmark.
Following an iconic Erling Haaland tribute celebration, Shaw went on to finish the game with four goals!

Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal the day before meant City knew we could extend our lead at the WSL summit to nine points with a win at London City Lionesses.
The hosts, however, were keen to spoil the party and looked like they’d earned a point heading towards stoppage time.
However, a goalmouth scramble involving Alex Greenwood eventually saw the ball land at the feet of Shaw, who duly slotted home a late winner.
It wasn’t pretty, but City had once again found a way to win. The celebrations after – led by our captain Greenwood – showed how significant a moment it would end up being.

From a gutsy late win to a sumptuous, dazzling victory just seven days later!
City outclassed reigning WSL champions Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium, with Kerolin’s hat-trick underlining a memorable moment in the season.
The Brazilian’s second was the pick of the bunch, with a run from her own half followed by a deft lob over Hannah Hampton soon after the restart.
Kerolin’s celebration, arms folded and tongue out as she sat on the Etihad turf, has become another defining image of a special campaign.

After such a devastating display from the Blues, it seemed fitting that the WSL’s record goalscorer should have the final say at the Etihad.
Chelsea had pulled one back through a clinical Alyssa Thompson strike with 20 minutes to play which, combined with Kerolin’s hat-trick and a Shaw strike, had City 4-1 ahead.
However, a cleverly-worked set-piece routine allowed Miedema to dart to the near post and flick a header into the far corner soon after the visitors’ consolation.
A 5-1 win was sealed in style!

One of the key ingredients in City’s march to the WSL title has been our response to setbacks, and our 6-0 win over Leicester in February 2026 was another example of that.
Having been beaten for the first time since September the week before, the Blues bounced back in style with goals from Shaw, Hasegawa, Kerolin and a Miedema brace putting us five ahead inside 48 minutes.
Aoba Fujino then completed the scoring just after the hour to record our biggest win of the season so far before doing her famous celebration from the Japanese anime series Uchuu Kyoudai, as a promise to her father.

AFTA Co-Founders and Directors Becca and Jade said: “We are delighted to be working with Manchester City Women again, creating this winners’ design. This is not only a celebration of them winning the league, but also of their growth as a team.
“The design includes so many highlights and celebrations from across the season, a piece that is not only for the fans, but also something the players can look back on to remember such a standout season.
“We were really proud to design and produce their ‘Love This City’ collection in November, which marked a significant moment for City, giving fans and players their first bespoke, player-led official merch.
“This season is both a milestone for them as a team, and as a club, within the wider growth of the women’s game.”
