Lazio are reportedly eyeing a move for FC Nordsjælland teenager Noah Markmann as they look to round off their defensive department.
The Biancocelesti have already sold Mario Gila to AC Milan, while Alessio Romagnoli could still complete a move to Al-Sadd, despite the latest bureaucratic hurdles. The club brought in Danilho Doekhi on a free transfer from Union Berlin, but they still need another centre-back to complete the department, alongside Oliver Provstgaard, Patric, and Samuel Gigot.
Over the past few weeks, Lazio have been tirelessly chasing Sergi Dominguez, but they haven’t been able to satisfy Dinamo Zagreb’s requests. Therefore, Angelo Fabiani and co. have been tracking alternative options, including Fiorentina’s Pietro Comozzi, while another track has now emerged.
According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio are interested in Markmann, a 19-year-old defender who rose through the ranks at Nordsjælland and has been a member of the first team since 2024, and has thus far made 38 appearances. The club could make concrete steps on this front in the coming days, especially if they give up on Dominguez.
The teenager’s contract with the Danish club will expire in June 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his current value at €2.5 million. At Lazio, Markmann would find two compatriots in Gustav Isaksen and Provstgaard, who also arrived in Rome at young ages. The youngster is a right-footed centre-back, so he might one day form a defensive partnership with the left-footed Provstgaard.
