Manchester City and Burnley have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s Premier League fixture at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola’s side will be eager to continue their good recent form. They are unbeaten in their past four matches in all competitions and have put in several impressive performances against Manchester United, Napoli, Arsenal and Huddersfield Town. Today they take on a Burnley side who will be eager to pick up any positive result they can to aid their push to avoid relegation this season.
Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Omar Marmoush are all unavailable for today’s match due to injury. Mateo Kovacic could feature on the bench today as per Pep Guardiola’s update from yesterday. Erling Haaland is fit to play after being rested for Manchester City’s third-round Carabao Cup tie win over Huddersfield Town.

Pep Guardiola had made six changes to the starting lineup that beat Huddersfield Town. In comes Gianluigi Donnarumma, Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, Tijjani Reijnders, Jeremy Doku and Erling Haaland. James Trafford, Nathan Ake, John Stones, Rico Lewis, Oscar Bobb and Divine Mukasa all drop to the bench for today’s match. Rodri hasn’t been deemed fit enough to play and isn’t in City’s squad for today’s match.
