Manchester City and Real Madrid have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of tonight’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second-leg tie at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola’s side enters tonight’s match trailing 3-0 on aggregate after Fede Valverde’s hat trick gave Alvaro Arbeloa’s side a strong advantage to take into tonight’s match. City will have to produce an almost perfect performance tonight if they are to turn around the tie. Manchester City does have hope, so tonight’s match has the makings of another titanic tussle between City and Real Madrid if Pep Guardiola’s side fires tonight.

Manchester City enter tonight’s match with Josko Gvardiol unavailable due to injury. It is highly unlikely that Gvardiol will feature again this season due to the right tibial fracture he sustained at the beginning of 2026. Savinho and John Stones missed City’s 1-1 draw with West Ham due to minor hamstring and ankle injuries. Rico Lewis has been out of action due to an ankle injury but could return imminently. Outside of those four players, Pep Guardiola has a strong squad to pick from for tonight’s match.
