Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank believes that he will be able to turn the unhappy fans with success at Spurs, and claimed that the majority of the fans are behind the team.
The north London club are having an underwhelming season so far in the Premier League, but have done fairly well in the Champions League.
Spurs are currently sitting in the lower half of the Premier League table, as they are 12th with 27 points, 19 games deep in the campaign.
The Dane’s results have not made many of the fans very happy, though, as they believe that the north Londoners should be much higher in the league table, while there also concerns about Frank’s style of play.
Ex-Premier League star Perry Groves believes that Frank is struggling at Spurs because of the massive size of the club.

However, another former top-flight star reminded Spurs fans who have been critical that they were almost relegated last season, as they finished as low as 17th in the Premier League.
On New Year’s Day, Frank’s side played against his old club, Brentford, and the match ended in a 0-0 draw at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The Spurs boss recognised that some fans booed the team following their dull display against the Bees, but he believes that most of them are behind the team.
However, he is confident that he will be able to win over fans criticial, stressing that he is determined to have their support.

“I’ll try to maybe turn that question around and say if you are successful the Tottenham fans will be behind you”, Frank told a press conference when he was asked if he would be able to achieve success without the fans’ support.
“The fans will get behind us.
“Some booed last night, but I’m pretty sure there are a lot of fans that are behind us.”
Frank claims that Tottenham are in transition and also noted injury issues when asked about what he sees as success but the Spurs fans may not.
“I think expectation is good.
“I also think we are probably in a bit of a transition, not that we don’t want to play a lot better, but the club, the squad, the injuries and all that, that is part of that, when it is a transition period when not everything is perfect.”
Spurs have not been consistent with their displays all season, but the 52-year-old has made it clear that consistency is not a quick fix.
Up next, they are set to host a resilient Sunderland side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium; the Black Cats are currently seventh in the table.
