Leeds fans have delivered a keep-or-sell verdict on the squad, signalling priorities for Daniel Farke and 49ers Enterprises as he reshapes for next season.
According to Leeds Live, Leeds expect to spend a similar sum to last summer, with upwards of £100m available, subject to sales. The poll of the first-team group followed a season back in the Premier League that also included an FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
11 regulars earned more than 90% backing to stay, led by captain Ethan Ampadu on 98.9% and Anton Stach on 98.8%. A notable inclusion was goalkeeper Karl Darlow, with over 90% support to remain despite his contract expiring this summer.
Wilfried Gnonto split opinion, with 51.3% wanting him kept after a difficult campaign with limited chances. Daniel James also struggled to fit Farke’s system, and 60% of respondents said he should be sold, with 40.3% favouring a keep.
Other names pushed towards the exit included Brenden Aaronson on 46.6%, Ilia Gruev on 46% and goalkeeper Lucas Perri on 34.4%. Jack Harrison ranked lowest of all, with only 3.3% backing a keep. The findings suggest Darlow, Gnonto and James could depart, yet supporters appear most focused on Darlow staying.
