The Ivorian Football Federation has officially announced the Elephants' schedule for the March international break, as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup set for this summer.
The Ivorian national team will play two friendly matches against opponents with distinctly different tactical profiles, aiming to fine-tune their technical, physical, and team preparations ahead of the global showdown.
Emerse Faé’s men will first take on South Korea on March 28, 2026, at 14:00 GMT in a match scheduled for London, England.
They will then follow up against Scotland on March 31, 2026, at 19:30 GMT at Liverpool’s home ground.
These two high-level tests are part of the technical staff’s strategy to evaluate various options and pit their players against a range of playing styles, all while strengthening team cohesion as the World Cup approaches.
The Ivorians will kick off their World Cup campaign on June 15 with a clash against Ecuador at Lincoln Financial Field, in the south of Philadelphia.
