Tiago Madureira fined €1,275 after complaint by refereeing mentor

The Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) fined FC Porto SAD executive director Tiago Madureira €1,275 following incidents that occurred during the match between FC Porto and Famalicão, played on April 4 this year as part of the 28th round of the league championship.

The complaint was filed by Elmano Santos, head of the FPF’s Refereeing Council, and it resulted not only in the sanction imposed on the Dragons’ official, aggravated by the fact that it was a repeat offense for “failure to observe other duties,” but also in the “partial dismissal” of the disciplinary proceedings brought against FC Porto.
