SAN NICOLÁS DE LOS GARZA, Mexico – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continued with Tigres UANL earning a 4-1 win over Forge FC in the Second Leg of their Round One series, winning on aggregate by the same result, on Tuesday at Estadio Universitario in San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Tigres got the opening goal in the 22’ from a brilliant set piece, off a corner kick, as Ozziel Herrera flicked the ball to the back post where Fernando Gorriarán headed it across the area for Rodrigo Aguirre to finish.

Aguirre notched his brace in the 71’ as he found some space behind the defense and fired home a left-footed blast.

Forge FC cut into the deficit in the 80’ through a Brian Wright penalty conversion.

Seconds later, Tigers put another goal on the board in the 81’ when Ángel Correa blasted one from the edge of the box.

The Mexican side put their stamp on the victory with another set-piece tally in the 86’, as Joaquim Henrique flew in and ripped a one-timer off a corner kick.

Tigres UANL will play the winner of the FC Cincinnati-Universidad O&M FC series in the Round of 16 in March.
