The encounter between these two teams will start at 10:00 pm ET at Nemesio Díez Stadium in Toluca.
This match is available to watch live on Apple TV. Remember, all League Cup games can only be watched through Apple TV.
There is no official information on the unavailable players from either team.
Considering Seattle Sounders' poor run of results, it's reasonable to expect Toluca to control the match, with the Sounders looking to hit on quick counterattacks down the flanks and create their chances from there.
However, the same issue that has plagued them in MLS could resurface: they generate dangerous vertical attacks, but the finishing either isn't there or simply isn't good enough.
The good side for the Sounders is that, even though Toluca has a powerful attack, their defense has conceded at least one goal in every match. This stat should give Seattle a boost.
However, the Red Devils have consistently performed well in international competitions, demonstrating their ability to challenge even strong opponents like the Sounders and disrupt their attacking play.
Adding to the fact that they are under pressure because this will be the first match played in Mexico.
