The Blues' minor investor has delivered a message to his side on social media

Birmingham City's minority shareholder, Tom Brady, has encouraged his Blues side to "keep the momentum," following back-to-back league wins for the first time since early November.

Chris Davies' side saw off managerless Leicester City on Saturday to pick up a second straight league win, which saw them move up into the top 10, just two points behind Wrexham in sixth.

The 2-1 win continued their unbeaten run in all competitions, having not lost since New Year's Day away at Watford. Off the back of a very productive January transfer window, many are tipping the Blues to have a strong second half of the season and perhaps mount a play-off charge.

And Birmingham has the full support of everyone associated with the club, from the fans to those who are invested in the club.

With Super Bowl 60 taking place in the NFL on Sunday night between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, Birmingham took the opportunity to commemorate the successes of arguably the greatest quarterback of all time, and minority Blues investor, Tom Brady.

It was the first Super Bowl the Patriots had played in since Brady departed the franchise in 2019. During his two decades with the side, they won six Super Bowl titles.

Birmingham reflected on this via an Instagram post, depicting a cartoon Brady holding the famous trophy, but with a Blues badge in the corner of his jersey.

Brady would react to this post on his Instagram story, tagging the club, and saying, "So proud of our squad! Let's keep the momentum!"

The seven-time champion will be hoping for a better end to the campaign at St Andrew's than for his former side, as they fell to the Seattle Seahawks 29-13.

Birmingham City can feel some confidence in a late-season play-off push

Millwall's win over Wrexham on Saturday was massive, as it blew the race for sixth wide open ahead of what will be an intriguing final 15 games full of twists and turns in the Championship.

Now, only five points separate the Red Dragons, in the final play-off spot, and Swansea City, all the way down in 15th. Clearly, hitting form at the right time could be the difference between finishing in there and not, and Birmingham will feel confident that they could be the side to hit that form.

The Blues strengthened significantly in the January window, letting some of those who helped them to League One promotion go in favour of exciting, young stars who could realistically be playing in the Premier League in a few seasons.

Off the back of that, Birmingham have picked up some big wins against sides, admittedly, near the bottom. But that's generated some momentum that they can take going into what, on paper, looks a difficult run-in.
