Tomas Koubek, the former Rennes goalkeeper now with Slovan Liberec, sent a clearance onto a third-floor balcony during a match in Prague. The incident came in a 0-0 draw with Bohemians 1905.

According to L'Équipe, at Dolicek, a quaint ground that opens onto the street, Koubek dealt with a difficult back-pass and cleared as he could. His kick sailed over the low stand and landed on a balcony across the road. The window did not break despite the power of the strike.

The Czech goalkeeper, now aged 33, returned home in the winter of 2025 after five and a half years with Augsburg.

Seven years on from his memorable dash as Rennes celebrated winning the Coupe de France against PSG on 27 April 2019. That final finished 2-2 after extra time before a 6-5 shootout.

Koubek played for Rennes from 2017 to 2019 and now represents Slovan Liberec in his home country.
