Italy and Newcastle star Sandro Tonali admits he must ‘deal with the transfer rumours’ but is ‘100%’ focused on his game and adds: ‘I don’t look at social media, I don’t like it.’

Italy and Newcastle midfielder Tonali released an interview with Sky Sports UK following weeks of speculation of a possible move away from St. James’ Park in the summer.

“I don’t look at social media, I don’t like it. After my ban, I changed everything with social media, I just go to training and then go home and be with my family. My life is much better now,” said the ex-Milan star.

“In football, if you play well, you have to deal with the transfer rumours, but if you concentrate 100% on your game, and you’re happy, you don’t have to think about anything or speak about anything.”

Tonali’s contract with Newcastle expires in June 2028 and several clubs have been linked with securing his services in the summer, including Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester United.
