Former City star Toni Duggan will be a special guest for our Matchday Live show against Manchester United.
Andrée Jeglertz’s side travel across the city to face our rivals at Old Trafford on Saturday 15 March with kick-off set for 13:30 (UK).
It marks the final match between the two sides this season in what poses to be yet another exciting Manchester derby.
Last time out we put on a devastating first-half performance as we beat United 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
The Blues took a three-goal lead in at the break against a side that were yet to lose on the road this season, beginning with a Rebecca Knaak header and sliding Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw effort.
However, the pick of the bunch was our third, with Lauren Hemp launching an exquisite, vicious drive into the top corner on her return to the starting line-up.
Heading into the game we sit eight points ahead of the Reds, with a win boosting our spot at the summit and keep second placed United at bay.
To mark the occasion, a special Matchday Live show will be broadcast on each of our digital channels, with Duggan offering her expert insight.
Our former prolific forward found the net 34 times during her three-year period at the Joie Stadium and was crowned WSL top goal scorer on three occasions (2014, 2015, 2017 Spring Series).
Duggan will be at Old Trafford alongside Cel Spellman around one hour before kick-off to preview the game and share memorable stories from her time at the Club, before a half-time debrief and post-match analysis.
As always, Matchday Live is available on all our digital platforms and offers a unique City aspect to your match build-up with plenty of analysis and laughs in between.
Nick Walsh and Abbie McManus will also provide you with live audio commentary from kick-off as they paint the pictures as Jeglertz’s side aim to boost their position at the league’s summit.
