Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Torino have added Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri to their list as they search for a new No 1 this summer.

Perri joined from Olympique Lyonnais in a £16 million deal last summer, arriving to take the No 1 spot, but a disappointing first season ended with him behind Karl Darlow. He started 16 Premier League games, the last in January after errors against Manchester United and Newcastle, and featured four times in the FA Cup.

As it stands Perri is Leeds’ only senior option. Darlow, Illan Meslier and Alex Cairns are no longer under contract, although an agreement is understood to have been reached with Cairns.

Leeds have been in talks with Darlow and have tabled a contract offer, but Manchester United and Everton are believed to have also put proposals forward, with the Wales international weighing up his options. Meslier is due to join Arsenal, and if Darlow also departs, the goalkeeping department will undergo major change.

Recruitment plans are in motion, and Japan international Zion Suzuki is admired, though talk of an active push is thought to be wide of the mark for now. Leeds might also look at Manchester City’s goalkeepers, but James Trafford would not be cheap, with reports of a £40 million price tag and significant competition.
