Multiple sources in Italy claim that Torino are closing in on the signing of Lucas Perri from Leeds United, who will replace the Brazilian with James Trafford.
Serie A side Torino are close to signing Brazilian goalkeeper Perri from Leeds United, according to Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano.
Sky Sport’s Gianluca Di Marzio says that Leeds are becoming increasingly confident of securing a deal to sign James Trafford from Manchester City, which will pave the way for Perri’s move to the Stadio Grande Torino.
Romano reports that the “final details are being sorted” between Torino and Leeds United.
Perri, 28, has played for Crystal Palace, Olympique Lyon and Leeds in Europe. He joined Leeds a year ago from Lyon in a €16m deal.

In his first and only season at Leeds, he conceded 29 goals in 16 Premier League appearances, keeping just three clean sheets.
Torino are also in talks for another signing in defence as Alfredo Pedullà and RSI claim they are close to Eray Cömert, an ex-Valencia defender, available as a free agent, who is also on Lazio’s shopping list.
Torino have appointed a new coach for 2026-27, bringing in ex-Milan defender Ignazio Abate, who had reached the Serie B play-offs with Juve Stabia last season.
