Tottenham have confirmed the signing of centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton.
The defender joins the North London club following an agreed £52m transfer fee.

Van Hecke joined up with the Netherlands national team this summer after a consistent 2025/26 campaign for the Seagulls.
The 26-year old featured in 36 of the 38 Premier League matches for Brighton last season and scored three goals.
Van Hecke is Spurs' third confirmed transfer this summer after the arrival of Andy Robertson.
