Tottenham Hotspur want to offer Luka Vuskovic an improved contract after his impressive performances on loan at Hamburger SV, according to the Sun.
The club signed the centre-back from Hajduk Split in 2023 as a 16-year-old, but he could not join them until the window after he turned 18 due to Brexit rules.
Vuskovic has had loan spells at Radomiak Radom and Westerlo since then and is currently impressing in the Bundesliga.
The ‘exceptional talent‘ eventually moved to Tottenham in July 2025 before moving to Hamburger.
The Croatia international has caught the eye of Europe’s biggest clubs, and Spurs are moving to ensure they hand him a new deal.
Director of football Johan Lange has travelled to Hamburg to speak with Vuskovic about his future.
The teenage sensation is on low wages after signing a five-year deal last summer, and Spurs are ready to hand him a much-improved contract.
The Lilywhites are desperate to stay up after a fierce relegation battle in recent weeks, and they will retain their Premier League status if they win their last three games.
Spurs are expected to strengthen at the back, as Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven could leave even if they stay up.
Manager Roberto De Zerbi could look to bring Vuskovic back to London if he is impressed by his pre-season displays.
A major squad rebuild could be on the cards at Tottenham this summer, regardless of which division they are in next term.
