Tottenham Hotspur were not shy in the recently concluded transfer market as they made a handful of important acquisitions throughout the summer. Spurs managed to bring in Xavi Simons, Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso and Kota Takai.

The North London giants also managed to sign Joao Palhinha and Randal Kolo Muani on loan. Thomas Frank has done well to add a lot of depth to his squad this summer, but only time will tell whether Tottenham can compete for a top-four finish in the Premier League this season.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Summer Arrivals

Xavi Simons

Tottenham signed Simons from RB Leipzig for €65m. The Dutch talent managed to shine at times for the German club last season. However, there are some question marks over whether he can make a smooth transition to life in North London.

Mohammed Kudus

Kudus arrived from West Ham for €63.80m earlier this summer. The talented wide player has already made a positive impact at Tottenham after securing a couple of assists in four appearances for them so far.

We can expect Kudus to have a productive season at the London club.

Mathys Tel

Spurs opted to make Tel’s loan deal permanent for €35.00m this summer. The 20-year-old has shown some glimpses of his potential. However, he is still quite raw to play a major role for Tottenham this season.

Kevin Danso

The 26-year-old signed from Lens for €25m in what could prove to be a shrewd piece of business by Tottenham. Danso has what it takes to serve as an ideal back-up to Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero at the North London club this season.

Kota Takai

Frank also managed to sign Takai for €5.80m. He will be the one to keep an eye out for the future.

Joao Palhinha (Loan)

Palhinha arrived from Bayern Munich on a season-long loan deal and has already put in a few influential displays at the heart of Frank’s midfield.

The Portuguese talent could prove to be Tottenham‘s signing of the summer.

Randal Kolo Muani (Loan)

Spurs managed to secure Kolo Muani’s services on loan as well. He has got a wealth of experience at the highest level and will be expected to earn a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season.

Has Tottenham Hotspur Boss Thomas Frank Done A Good Job Recruiting?

It seems like Frank has done a good job recruiting for Tottenham this summer. He has managed to strengthen his first team as well as add more depth to his squad.

With all things considered, the London outfit would be confident about their chance of securing a top-four finish in the Premier League this season.
