Tottenham's efforts to bolster their squad during the current transfer period have encountered notable challenges, with key targets either joining rival clubs or opting to remain with their current teams. Despite these setbacks, the club remains actively engaged in pursuing several high-profile reinforcements.
The primary focus continues to be on strengthening the attacking midfield department, with Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche, West Ham's Lucas Paquetá, and RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons featuring prominently on their list of potential acquisitions. Additionally, the club has expressed interest in Adrien Rabiot, who has become available following internal disagreements at his current team.
While securing a creative midfielder and a winger remains a priority, Tottenham are also evaluating options to reinforce their central defense. Crystal Palace's Marc Guéhi has emerged as a potential target, though the player's personal preference appears to lean toward a move to Liverpool rather than North London.
