Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is once again at the center of transfer speculation, with a Premier League club reportedly monitoring his situation ahead of the summer window.

After struggling to win over new United boss Ruben Amorim in the early stages of the season, Rashford was sent on loan to Aston Villa in search of a fresh start and he has largely made the most of it.

In 17 appearances for Villa, the England international has delivered four goals and six assists.

With United looking to cash in on him this summer, clubs are lining up to make an offer for him.

Although the player himself would prefer a move to La Liga giants Barcelona, it remains to be seen if they are ready to make an offer for him.

According to Football Transfers, Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Rashford’s availability should Villa choose not to make the deal permanent.

Spurs were previously linked with the Manchester United academy graduate in January but they opted for a move for Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel.

Under Ange Postecoglou, Tel has underperformed and not played according to the club’s expectations.

They have now reignited their interest in Rashford since the attacker could be available in a bargain deal this summer with the Red Devils desperate to offload him.

Should Spurs decide against triggering their own buy option for Tel, they may pivot towards Rashford, whose Premier League experience, versatility across the front line and regained form would suit the club and their playing style more.

Although Villa and Spurs have both shown interest in signing Rashford, it may come down to what the player wants this summer.

Man United have even started working on replacing Rashford at the club with interest high in Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze.
