Milan Škriniar has been demoted to a backup role at Paris Saint-Germain, with manager Luis Enrique favoring Willian Pacho and Marquinhos as his starting center-backs. It appears the veteran defender could be heading out of the club in the coming weeks.
Škriniar was linked with several clubs over the summer but chose to stay at PSG. However, with the January transfer window approaching, a move now seems likely, and a return to Serie A, where he enjoyed great success with Inter Milan, looks like a strong possibility.
In November, Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna reported that Škriniar and Juventus had reached a verbal agreement, with talks now ongoing between PSG and the Italian club over the transfer fee. However, a new suitor has emerged in the race.

La Gazzetta dello Sport are interested in PSG defender Škriniar and are a leading candidate to sign him. Moreover, this information also comes off the heels of another club keen on the veteran defender.
Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu recently reported that Galatasaray are interested in signing Škriniar on loan with an option to buy, and PSG are open to the deal.
Discussions are ongoing about how his salary will be divided. At the same time, a Serie A club have also made an offer, and the player is weighing his options. As for how much the player could cost, Transfermarkt puts the player’s transfer value at €15 million.
