Dominic Solanke has been out for more than a month with an ankle injury and had returned to training earlier this week, but he has once again been ruled out of action.
He remains on the sidelines with Randal Kolo Muani, who is yet to start since joining on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
Kolo Muani picked up a dead leg in training after colliding with Pape Matar Sarr and he has not yet recovered.
"I think it was Pape that ran into him, so I need to blame Pape," Thomas Frank joked at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
"So yeah, it's very unfortunate. It's just a contact injury. And it's one of those where sometimes they can take a week, other times they're taking a couple of weeks. Because he started bleeding again, unfortunately."
It means Richarlison will continue up front, while Mohammed Kudus is set to return on the right wing after being rested against Doncaster.
Pape Matar Sarr is fit again and could come straight back into the starting lineup and Lucas Bergvall is also pushing to return, which could mean Xavi Simons shifting out to the left again.
If Simons does start at No10, it is likely to be a straight battle between Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert to start on the left.
Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven were both given the night off against Doncaster and should start here, and there are decisions to make at full-back.
Pedro Porro was captain on Wednesday night but is unlikely to drop out here. Destiny Udogie could get the nod over Djed Spence on the left after impressing against Brighton last weekend.
Tottenham predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Palhinha, Sarr; Kudus, Bergvall, Simons; Richarlison
Injured: Dragusin, Takai, Davies Bissouma, Maddison, Kulusevski, Kolo Muani, Solanke
Time and date: 8pm BST on Saturday, September 27, 2025
