Olympique de Marseille have been scouting Manor Solomon (25), who has been a major contributor to Leeds United’s promotion to the Premier League. On loan from Tottenham Hotspur, the Israel international is keen on a move to Marseille, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
Solomon has been involved in 24% of all of Leeds’ goals in the EFL Championship this season and is now attracting interest. The player currently belongs to Tottenham Hotspur, who, according to Tavolieri, will demand around €20m. Marseille have already opened talks with the player’s entourage in order to ascertain their financial demands.
It is OM manager Roberto De Zerbi who recommended Solomon to the club’s hierarchy, a means of asserting pressure to get a deal done. However, for now, there are no talks between the two clubs. Solomon himself, however, is keen on a move to the Vélodrome, Tavolieri understands. The left-winger’s move to OM could be funded by the sale of Luis Henrique to Inter Milan. The Brazilian looks close to joining the Serie A side in a deal worth upwards of €25m.
