After a 2-2 draw with Tottenham in the Premier League, all attention turns to the Carabao Cup now as we host Newcastle for a 20:00 (UK) kick-off on Wednesday.

We’ll go into the game looking to extend our 2-0 advantage from the first leg of the semi-final tie and cement a place in the final against Arsenal or Chelsea.

After some tight games against the Magpies in recent fixtures, there’s no doubt it will be another tough battle at the Etihad Stadium.

Newcastle go into the game after suffering a 4-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield with Anthony Gordon opening the scoring.

We know we’ll have to be at our very best to secure our place in the final.

So with that in mind, the players were hard at work this afternoon.
