Pep Guardiola’s men defeated West Ham 3-0 on Saturday thanks to an Erling Haaland double and a fine finish from Tijjani Reijnders.

That result kept us in a strong position in the Premier League heading into Christmas, in second spot and two points behind leaders Arsenal.

In the aftermath of our triumph at the Etihad, our players were back at the training ground to warm down with a busy festive calendar of games incoming.

We’ve got Nottingham Forest away on Saturday 27 February, Sunderland away on New Year’s Day, Chelsea at home on Sunday 4 January and then Brighton at home on Wednesday 7 January.

To get set for that flurry of matches, our players - in high spirits - are optimising their recovery and preparation under the watchful eye of our specialised staff.
